Privacy policy
This policy explains how Waggle Enrich uses your personal data when you visit or buy from this shop. The data controller is Hamid Amjad, a sole trader trading as Waggle Enrich, 65 Park Road, Rochdale OL12 9BP, United Kingdom. For questions about your data, email hamid@eliteautomations.co.uk.
What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number if you give it, and what you order.
- Messages you send us.
- Information collected automatically when you use the shop, such as your device, browser and IP address, and pages you view, through cookies and similar tools.
Card payments are handled by our payment provider at checkout. We don't see or store your full card number.
Why we use it
- To take, post and deliver your order, and to deal with cancellations, returns and refunds (to carry out our contract with you).
- To answer your messages and keep the shop secure and working, including preventing fraud (our legitimate interests).
- To keep records we must keep by law, such as tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
- To send you marketing emails, only if you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time (consent).
Who we share it with
We share your data only as needed to run the shop and fulfil your order. This includes Shopify, which hosts the shop and processes orders, our payment providers, and the postal or courier service that delivers your parcel. We may also share it where the law requires. We do not sell your personal data.
Some of these providers, including Shopify, may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law. You can read Shopify's privacy policy at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Cookies
The shop uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as keeping items in your basket. Where we use other cookies, such as for analytics, we ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, because tax law requires it. We keep other data only for as long as we need it for the reasons above.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or give it to you in a portable format. You can also object to how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us to make a request.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to sort it out first.
